[No better time than the present, right? Theo has an uneasy feeling from the deal he just made but there's so much going on lately that it gets lost pretty quickly in a vortex of other complicated, annoying feelings. He packs up what he was doing and heads out, carrying with him a box; black, both lid and bottom. Inside it is a large leather-bound book, the cover empty but the first page is styled like an illuminatedmanuscript, hand-painted with gilded inks and citing a 'Prayer of Zephir' for added holiness, complete with a saint-like depiction of the man.
He wanted worship. Theo doesn't half ass his art. Go start a cult, babe. He got you.
Theo comes to Zephir's door, knocking gently to announce himself. He hopes Zephir likes his gift. (What will he do if he doesn't?)]
[ The door opens, Zephir's smile greeting Theo before a kiss does. His hand on the other man's cheek, he takes a moment to pick up on the changes that have happened to him. To his magic, rather. ]
My Jewel. You've grown, too.
[ The hand slips away, with an appreciative and congratulatory gesture with his head. He moves to let him in. ]
[Sooo weird to think that had was recently inside him, rooting around like a kid on halloween trying to find a mars bar. Theo leans into it anyway, confidence boosted with a little smile; he likes knowing his magic is stronger but he definitely likes hearing it from other people, especially. He offers the box he's holding to Zephir:]
A gift, as promised. And... yeah, I've been working at that. It's a good look on me, now?
[Without all that blood magic rubbed all over him.]
[ For the question, and surely soon to be for the gift in Zephir's hands, received with a smile that might as well be praise in itself. ]
Go look at my garden while I discover your offering. See if you can find yourself.
[ As he moves to a table, places it down and opens his present, Theo is free to look through the collection of plants, both perfectly normal and those he's grown from seeds taken out of people's chests. The latter are a bizarre collection, yet somehow, in one detail or another, there's always something that evokes the person it came from.
Sat down, Zephir gives the manuscript the quiet attention it deserves, a finger pensively sliding over his lips, blue eyes a little brighter as he reads. And then, of course, the depiction of Life as one of humanity's many deities. Theo did everything he was supposed to and more, didn't he. ]
[Theo takes instruction, moving over to look at the plants - waving his hand over a few, wondering if now he might have some sort of an effect on them if he tried. But rather than tinker with his natural green magic, he closes his eyes and tries to make use of divination; where am I in here? He's pensive after that, turning to look back over his shoulder while pointing a finger to one particular seedling.]
[ Zephir nods silently. He doesn't need to look at Theo to know he's right; this is a rare moment when he doesn't want to, or would much rather keep his attention on his art. Here he is, a deity who finds worship laughable until it suits his whims, brushing a careful finger over the places where Theo's skin left an invisible mark. Sure enough, he has the same word for him that he used before. ]
Perfect. Thank you, Theo.
[ He keeps it open, leans back on his seat; shifts his gaze over to the other man with warmth. ]
Do you like him? He's not fully grown yet. Some take a little longer than others. Perhaps you'd like to help.
[How big any of these plants would grow, if tended to properly? He looks back and forth between 'him' and Zephir, more firmly planting his eyes on the latter after a beat. It's not that it inspires any sense of dread in him but he does have a small amount of curiosity about:]
[He says, tilting his head like perhaps he's aware of how out of all the good things one could do with a substance like that, he's instead focused on the... slutty ones.]
We just want to make love while we're both sort of... inebriated by it. Probably underwhelming for you to hear.
[ Zephir leans back and brushes the other man's waist with his fingers, not quite making it a nudge, then glances down at his legs. Sit on his lap, Jewel Beetle. ]
[ Theo sits and Zephir is already touching him, one hand on his side, the other on his leg, sliding inward. He tilts his head up, nothing in his gaze but the man he's looking at, same old smile that's so full of himself and full of warmth for the other. He softens his voice, intimate and suggestive, the gift of worship still exposed on the table that Theo now separates him from. ]
We do the same, love. I drink from him and he drinks from me, until all we can think of is fucking and drinking so we can keep fucking. I've given it to you; he's given it to her while they did the same.
We like that our blood is used for this. There will always be plenty for you. If you want it.
[For sharing with Cellar, but also for drinking of Zephir plain and simple, too. He slings his arm around Zephir's neck and shoulder, leaning against him, feeling like an older life of himself for how he fits in his lap despite his own height and lengthy limbs. The proportions just seem to still work, with Zephir so tall and perfect to nest against. Theo enjoys his wandering touch, too.]

[ Sully takes Cellar's leg. Zephir takes an instance of Theo's free will. ]

[ Airily said, almost the verbal equivalent of a shrug. ]
You tell me. It's your magic.

[Theo moves away from his plant twin, and back toward Zephir. Stands near him, eyes on the book before lifting them slowly up to meet gaze.]
Don't suppose you're any good at teaching magic to a witch?

I can help you channel it. I can give it more power. But that's not what you're using my blood for, is it?

I'd ask if you're just saying that, honestly. Of all the things we could be doing with your gifts, we're... just screwing.

Or do you mean how, because... well. That'd be up to you.
the way i lost this tag
I'm sure something can be arranged. [ As for the second part, ] I think it should be up to you, actually. Since you're the one who's using it.
